World's Most Accessible STRESS RELIEVER!

Updated: Oct 30

💊 Is 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆 the medicine for you?

Stephanie Kittell plays a harmonium and sings with her voice student.

Beloveds, let's nerd out together for a hot minute!

🎶 Scientific studies show that co-creating music and singing together improves focus, moods, and motivation. It also increases social bonding and feelings of connection because the brain produces more oxytocin (the love, trust, and cuddle hormone) to counteract cortisol (the stress & anxiety hormone).

🧠 Social anthropologist, Jerome Lewis, says that "Song or music is able to capture something that goes beyond what we would normally be able to articulate in our rational, logical minds. It provides an opportunity for exploring joyful, difficult, sad – all sorts of different emotional spaces which are sometimes difficult to access through a literal, logical, sequential series of words that build up.”

💪🏽 Baishali Mukherjee, from World Federation of Music Therapy, describes singing as “an aerobic exercise which sees the release of endorphins, the brain's feel-good chemicals.", and says that, “Endorphins are related to an overall lifted feeling of happiness, it gives a feeling of euphoria so it’s all associated with a reduction in stress. In any situation whether it is under stress or with any physical ailments, illness, psychological deprivation, music has the potential to affect our body and mind.”

🧐 And yet, so many of us have kept our voices so small and hidden, believing a false narrative that we are not singers, missing out on all the juicy benefits of a voice fully expressed and shared.

🕊️ If you need a loving nudge to uncage the songbird in your heart, this is it!

Let’s sing together!

Here's what some previous students had to say...

“This was so beautiful in so many ways....and I feel like it is a new beginning. I feel really excited about this and it feels really good in my body, and I haven’t felt that way about singing before so, thank you.”

~ Jake Ferree

"I learned a lot about myself and it has been an amazing journey. I’m glad I did it. I think it’s a part of self love, and I hope everyone does this at some point in their life. It’s very important.”

~ Bahareh Akrtaru

“I enjoyed Stephanie’s, professional, clear and precise instructions. Stephanie is accepting of where you are in your voice discovery. She is an extremely skilled facilitator and listener.”

~ Peggy Spencer

“To label my time with Steph as ‘voice activation’, seems to limit what I received from our sessions together. My throat chakra was blocked. I was convinced I was tone deaf. I had never sang out loud in front of people. Steph created a container that was based in radical, unconditional love & divine play allowing my nervous system to settle, vulnerability to flow, and which gave my expression the freedom it was yearning for.”

~ Meg Kwiatkowsky

Thanks for nerding out with me, friends!

Now let's get singing and feel that delicious oxytocin warm us from the inside out.

With love,

Stephanie Kittell
