CRINGING your own CONTENT? The content that makes me cringe now is often the expression that helped me grow.

Dear creative soul,
Let’s talk creator cringe.
Surprise surprise... I don’t always get it right. 🤪
But I do allow the creative flow of the moment to move through me anyway… giving less and less fucks what others will think. 😝
As a creator, and frankly as an expressive human being, you won’t always get it right either. Sometimes you will look back at your expressions and cringe, and that’s okay.
For me personally, there are so many moments where I look back at content that I created yesterday, or something I said recently, and it no longer resonates with where I am and who I am in this moment… and I’m cringing.
It’s so tempting in those moments to want to delete every awkward iteration, to refine and perfect endlessly, or to just cancel myself.
But when I look a little closer and feel into the cringe, what I’ve noticed is it actually helps me to grow.
That analysis allows me to see where I am moving in terms of my energetics, my expressions, the way I show up, why I show up.
Sometimes, as a creator, the most challenging thing to move through is simply letting the cringe be.
And then the next step is holding some compassion for yourself, for that version of you that chose to show up, however perfectly imperfect it was.
And frankly, if you’re not creating some cringe, then you’re probably not growing as an artist, as an expressive human being.
So let this be a friendly nudge to ditch the inner critic and express yourself, no matter how many times you will outgrow your own expressions. Hold yourself with compassion and humour.
Enjoy this wild and messy process of becoming an EMPOWERED CREATOR.

Still with me?
This is where we turn the cringe into creative prowess...
The 2nd Cohort of The EMPOWERED CREATOR Intensive starts September 14!

This program is not for everyone.
It’s for you if:
You are already creating or building something.
You feel a gap between your potential and your current output.
You want your work to feel more like you.
You are ready to be seen more clearly.
It’s not for you if:
You are looking for quick hacks or shortcuts.
You want plug and play templates without depth.
You are not ready to be honest about what isn’t working.
This work asks something of you.
But it gives back clarity, direction, and momentum that actually lasts.
We begin September 14th.
With love & gratitude,
Stephanie Kittell
