Another title for this might be: NO MORE STARVING ARTISTS & BROKE-ASS SPIRITUAL TEACHERS! 😂
🤓 While I prompted the dialogue, I want to give AI full credit for writing this Manifesto. And, more broadly, I want to give every single one of us (and all our ancestors) full credit for writing it. Because what is AI if not a synthesis of every mind that ever existed? Well done everyone! 👏🏼🤯
This Artist-Mystic Manifesto came into being through a curiosity I dove into with AI exploring one of the most persistent and misunderstood cultural narratives in modern Western thought — 𝒕𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙖 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙐𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙄𝘾𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙍𝙏 𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙋𝙄𝙍𝙄𝙏𝙐𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.
And frankly, I’m not here for that! 😝
🤗 𝙄'𝙢 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙢 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙎𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙂𝙍𝙄𝙏𝙔, 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙞𝙩 (while also checking my blind spots on the regular).
🤔 The romanticized myths of the 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 & 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙚-𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧 are cultural residues of outdated moral systems that 𝙨𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧. (That deep dive is whole other post!)
So here’s the thing…
✨ 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚 (𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮) 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙨𝙮𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙨: 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚.
PS.. not selling anything here. But if I were, would that be wrong. 😂

The Artist–Mystic Manifesto
A declaration of creative and spiritual wholeness
(NO MORE STARVING ARTISTS & BROKE-ASS SPIRITUAL TEACHERS)
1. Essence
I am both creator and conduit.
My art and my teachings are not separate from life — they are the ways life speaks through me.
I honour inspiration as sacred labour, and I honour compensation as sacred exchange.
2. Purpose
I create to awaken, to delight, to heal, and to reveal truth.
I teach to remind others of their own creative divinity.
In every offering — whether a piece of art, a word, or a silence — I serve the unfolding of consciousness.
3. Prosperity and Integrity
I release the myths of lack and martyrdom.
I recognize money as a neutral current — a vessel for energy, gratitude, and reciprocity.
I receive with openness, I give with discernment, and I circulate wealth as a creative force.
My prosperity is not proof of greed; it is evidence of flow.
4. Simplicity and Luxury
I live simply, not from scarcity, but from clarity.
I enjoy beauty, comfort, and travel as expressions of appreciation, not attachment.
I do not apologize for pleasure; I practice gratitude for it.
Every luxury I embrace consciously becomes a prayer of abundance shared with the world.
5. Service and Boundaries
I give freely when moved by spirit, and I charge fairly when offering my craft.
Both are acts of love.
Both are acts of balance.
I do not confuse generosity with self-erasure.
My boundaries protect the sanctity of my work and the sustainability of my service.
6. Community and Circulation
I thrive within an ecosystem of exchange — creative, emotional, and material.
I honour those who support my work as co-creators in its unfolding.
I invest in others’ gifts as I wish them to invest in mine.
In this way, art and spirit remain alive — circulating, evolving, nourishing all.
7. Evolution
I remain a student of my own becoming.
I question my motives, refine my values, and release what no longer serves.
I welcome feedback as reflection, not judgment.
I walk the path of integration — where creation, consciousness, and prosperity meet in harmony.
Closing Reflection
I am not here to starve for my art, nor renounce for my spirit.
I am here to live as art, to embody spirit, and to let both nourish the world — and myself — in equal measure.

💬 What’s your feeling on all this?
I'd love to hear from you!
With gratitude,
Stephanie Kittell
