WHAT TO SAY TO PEOPLE WHO EXPECT YOU TO STAY THE SAME (Own Your Evolution!)

They want the old you. But you’re busy becoming the best you. It’s OK to outgrow their expectations. 😉

People will try to put you in a box. 

Not because you belong there;  but because your growth makes them uncomfortable.

You’re allowed to pivot from places, habits & even people.  

Change is not betrayal.  

It’s evolution.

So when they say:  “You’ve changed.”

Try saying:  “YES I HAVE. AND CHANGE IS NATURAL.” 

When they ask:  “Why can’t you just be who you were?”

Respond:  “Because I’m becoming who I’m meant to be.”

When your shifts trigger them, get curious. 

Ask: “WHAT ABOUT MY GROWTH FEELS UNCOMFORTABLE FOR YOU?”

or “HOW CAN WE SUPPORT EACH OTHER AS WE EVOLVE?”

Your journey isn’t up for debate. 

You don’t owe anyone the old version of you.

Keep growing.

Keep glowing. 

Own your evolution.
